Is it ever too early to start making Christmas cards? I don't think so. I looked at the long range forecast today and Calgary is scheduled for snow on Tuesday and Wednesday. Sigh…summer is over.
This card uses two of my favourite things (the list is SO long), Blendabilities and watercolouring. I used the Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, and Skin Tone Blendabilities to colour the house, and the same watercolour technique I used on THIS card (there's a video in that post too FYI) to create the pretty sky background.
I think a little strip of the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper is perfect for a snow dusted street.
Today also marks the opening of registration for my upcoming retreat in Banff, Alberta! Last year the retreat filled in 15 minutes, so be sure to contact me asap to reserve your space. I have added a few extra spots this year too, so yay. :)
How do I register?
Call me at 10am (403-512-0549). Provide me with the full names of all those you are registering with. Everyone then has one hour for me to receive an email money transfer for their registration fees. The retreat registration form also needs to be submitted to be BEFORE the retreat begins.
You can find all the retreat details, including the registration form, on my website HERE.
Have a fabulous day!
