Goodbye Fresh Vintage, Goodbye Elementary Elegance

Today is IT folks!  The LAST and FINAL day of Sale-a-bration!  I will be placing my last order for Sale-a-bration this afternoon.  So be sure to contact me before noon if you'd like to place an order.  FREE Sale-a-bration item with orders over $60 of course.  ;)  If you're out of town (or like to shop online, rather than through a demonstrator) you can shop HERE and get your orders shipped directly to you...now that's an awesome perk!

I've enjoyed my Sale-a-bration free goodies and had the pleasure of inking up the stamp sets over and over again.  My two favourites this year were Fresh Vintage and Elementary Elegance.  So pretty.  Here's a little stroll down memory lane...

Petite Pocket Mini Album

Butterfly Birthday Card

I've enjoyed Sale-a-brating with so many of you with workshops, Stamp Clubs, classes, and of course Online Orders.  I thank you for your business from the bottom of my heart.  It means the world to me that you've chosen me to be your demonstrator.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Goodbye Everyday Enchantment DSP

In only two short days we will be saying goodbye to Sale-a-bration.  With that we'll be saying goodbye to the Everyday Enchantment DSP too.  After Saturday you won't be able to get it free with your $60 order.  You won't be able to buy it either!  It's going back into the Stampin' Up! vault forever!

I will be placing my last Sale-a-bration order on Saturday afternoon.  So if you can't live without the Everyday Enchantment DSP (or anything else from the Sale-a-bration catalogue) be sure to email me early to get your orders in.  Out of town?  You can order online 24/7 and have your goodies arrive on your doorstep!  Doesn't get much better than that!

Here's some of my favourite projects using the beautiful Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper.

Mini File Folder Album

Decorated Journal

3 x 3 Thank You Card

I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to this paper!  I'll be placing some orders so I have a few packages to hoard!

Wonderful You Gift Tag

Oh gift tags!  I love making them!  They're just the perfect little canvas for creativity.  For this one I did some colouring with my Stampin' Write Markers and my Blender Pen.  It takes some extra time, but it's really worth the effort.  The soft look of the watercoloured flowers turned out really pretty.

Oh, and if you haven't gotten the Apothecary Art stamp set yet, you are really missing out!  I love the images in it!  It's found in the Occasions Mini Catalogue, which means it's only available until the end of April.  The images co-ordinate with the Labels Framelits too!  YAY!

Stamps: Apothecary Art, Loving Thoughts, Fine Flourish
Ink: Soft Suede, Certainly Celery, Regal Rose
Paper: Very Vanilla
Big Shot: Labels Framelits, Two Tags
Ribbon: Certainly Celery 1/4" Grosgrain
Stampin' Write Markers: Rose Red, Regal Rose, Certainly Celery
Other: Blender Pen

I hope your week is off to a great start!  Thanks for continuing to check in on me and what I'm up to.  :)

Don't miss this opportunity!

When I signed up to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator during Sale-a-bration three years ago I really had no idea what I was getting in to!  If you had told me that I was about to meet some dear people and form some of my most meaningful friendships I probably wouldn't have thought much of it.  If you had told me I would be earning enough income for me to spend the majority of my days at home and work part time I would have rolled with laughter.  If you had told me that I would get an unmeasurable amount of joy from investing so little money to get my own business up and running I would have been skeptical.

I can tell you from first hand experience that all of these things are true.  You will meet new people who will become your closest friends.  You can make money to support your family if you put the time and the effort in to get your business off the ground.  And you will find SO MUCH JOY in having your own business.

If you're ready to take a chance on yourself and get your business started, the timing couldn't be better!  The Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Starter Kit is on SALE for only $150 until Saturday only!  Contact me today to get started, or you can go here for some more information.  I look forward to helping you along your Stampin' Up! journey.  I'd love to welcome you to our family.

Birthday Gift Tag

Today I'd like to share with you this beautiful birthday gift tag.  When you add a creative and eye catching tag like this one to your gifts, suddenly the recipient (and everyone else!) wants to open your package first and find out what's inside.  I've been making quite a few tags lately and I'll be sharing some of them with you in the coming days and weeks.

To make my tag creating fun and easy, I've been using the Two Tags Die and my Big Shot.  This die cuts two beautiful tags, each unique and lovely, both at the same time.  Super time saver!

This tag uses 3 items I earned FREE during Sale-a-bration!  Don't worry, there's still a little bit of time to get your Sale-a-bration orders in (seriously, only one week left people!).  For every $60 you spend you can choose 1 item for FREE from the Sale-a-bration catalogue.  You can contact me to place your orders, or shop in my online store.

It's like WOW, Super Cute!

Oh my goodness!  Carrie Cudney from the Stampin' Up! home office has shared a video using the new Adorning Accents Edgelits Dies, and the co-ordinating Bordering on Romance stamp set to make a super cute card holder!  She also uses the Simply Scored, so if you haven't seen it in action before, here's your chance.  You are going to LOVE her projects!

Have a fabulous Saturday.  I'll be spending today in my Stamp Room!  Woo hoo!!!!

Lost, But Not Forgotten

When the swaps from my demonstrator friends were arriving earlier this month two came slightly later than the others.  I was being very careful and put them in a 'safe place' so I could take pictures of them to show you.  Well, that 'safe place' is really truly a terrible idea!  I never remember where I stash these things!  I cleaned out my Stamp Room today, and there tucked inside an empty clear mount stamp case was these two final swaps.  :)

by Rachel Bradley
Thanks so much ladies for the beautiful swaps!  I'm sorry there was such a delay in posting them.

The countdown until the end of Sale-a-bration is on.  Only 8 days left!  So if you still have some wants out of the Sale-a-bration catalogue please contact me asap with your orders, or you can order online HERE.  With every $60 purchase you earn a Sale-a-bration gift FREE.  Don't want to miss that deal!

Not Stamping Related, But Still Creative

The other day when I mentioned that cupcakes isn't something that I'd never really done when I worked as a Pastry Chef in the industry I got a few emails asking me what kind of things I did make when I worked in the restaurant.  Most of what I did was menu planning, including the creation and implementation of new dessert items for two restaurants and a banquet menu.  Basically, I created desserts for an upscale casual restaurant, a fine dining restaurant, and small scale banquet space.  The fun part was working to create new menu items as the seasons changed and the availability of ingredients changed.  I also especially loved making wedding cakes.  I often get asked why I don't work in the industry anymore and it really just comes down to quality of life.  Working 14+ hours a day, 6 days a week, does not a happy marriage make.  So we made some changes.  :)

Although I spent very little of my time making cakes, those are the most interesting pictures to show you.  So in the interest of satisfying inquiring minds, these are some of the fun things I have made:
40th Birthday Golf Theme Cake
Black and White Damask Wedding Cake
White on White Wedding Cake with Lavender Bow
Christmas Wedding Cake with Blown and Pulled Sugar Details
Thanks for letting me share.  I'll be back to the regular stamping related postings tomorrow.  I hope I've satisfied your curiosity.  :)

March Stamp Club

What a wonderful time Stamp Club was this month.  It it always super great, but I had the pleasure of meeting some new ladies in the last few days that were a fabulous addition to our stamping fun!  (Hi Kathy, Lauren, and Lindsay!)

This month was our final meeting for the current round of Stamp Club, so we'll be forming new groups in April.  There are currently a few spots remaining, so if you'd like to join us please contact me as soon as possible.  There's also a little more info on what Stamp Club is all about here.  Now let's check out what we were up to this month...

Layout cased from Vicki Burdick

And of course I had to make some Easter cupcakes to go with our Easter projects.
Thank you so much ladies for another amazing round of Stamp Club.  It is such a pleasure to spend time with you all.

Three Fabulous Years!

Happy Anniversary, to me!  I signed up to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator exactly three years ago today.  :)  I can't believe how far I've come in three short years.  I have so much to be thankful for.  A wonderful upline, a fabulous downline, and of course my amazing and loyal customers.  I've had great opportunities to travel with my Stampin' Up! friends to regional events in both Calgary and Edmonton, Convention in Salt Lake City (x2),  as well as Leadership in Nashville and San Antonio.  I want to thank everyone who has been a part of this wonderful journey.

Before I sign off for today I want to show you this cute Easter card that I made over the weekend.
Getting ready for my club this weekend I realized that I don't have any Easter stamps!  What!?!?  I know, how did that happen?  Anyways, I improvised with the Up, Up, and Away stamp set.  I thought that was pretty smart. ;)
Recognize that Easter egg?  It's one of the hot air balloons from the Up, Up, and Away stamp set!  When you are cutting out the balloon just be sure to round off the top to make it an egg shape.  Easy peasy.

Stamps: Up, Up, and Away, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Elementary Elegance
Ink: Blush Blossom, Basic Black
Paper: Blush Blossom, Whisper White
Big Shot: Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder
All supplies available from Stampin' Up!

Have a great day friends!

St. Patrick's Day Cupcakes

Good morning and happy Sunday!  I had an action filled evening last night with a rowdy bunch of ladies at my Be A Big Shot, Round 3 Class last night, and I'm thinking it may have had something to do with all the sugar I fed them!  Whoops!  We most certainly know how to have a good time!

I found the idea for these cupcakes on Pinterest and as soon as I saw them I knew I wanted to make them for my class.  As you've probably read here on my blog before, I used to be a Pastry Chef, so occasionally I miss that creative side of my life and feel the need to bake.  These cupcakes are VERY far from the type of desserts and pastries I used to make as a chef, but every bit as fun.  :)
I've got to run, I have my Stamp Club ladies coming over this afternoon!  YAY!  I wonder if I'll have time to whip up another batch of cupcakes....

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day friends!  I hope you remembered to wear something green!

I've got a quick post to show you the St. Patrick's Day treats I'm giving to my husband today.  Don't worry if you haven't started making up your treat bags yet.  All you need is the Lucky Framable Designer Template, only $2.50 in my Online Store.  It's an instant digital download so you can get creating right away.  You can use this file with a whole bunch of computer programs (Word and Paint to name a few) to create this super simple bag topper.
All I did was print it out, do some trimming, and glue it to my bag topper.  Super simple.

I've got a fun outing with my friend Jackie this afternoon and then I'll be busy teaching my Be A Big Shot, Round 3 Class tonight.  Can't wait!!!

Gift Tag with a Little Bit of Everything

I had some fun playing in my Stamp Room last night!  I got out lots of goodies and kept layering them on as I made this gift tag.  I started by making this rolled flower with the Twitterpated fabric, and things just kind of took off from there.
Good thing this is a gift tag!  I think it would cost me a couple dollars to mail if it was a card!  It got nice and thick and lovely in no time!
I also used a new favourite from the big catalogue, the Beau Chateau Side Notes!  They're awesome!  They add just the perfect touch of vintage flair!

Stamps: Bordering on Romance, Bring on the Cake
Ink: Soft Suede
Paper: Twitterpated DSP, Very Vanilla, Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride
Punches: Full Heart, 1 1/4" Circle, Blossom Petals Builder
Big Shot: Two Tags Die
Embellishments: Beau Chateau Side Notes, Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon
Other: Sticky Strip, Tombow Multipurpose Glue, Stampin' Sponge
All supplies available from Stampin' Up!

Have a fabulous Friday friends!  Thanks for stopping by!
