Thanks for such a great party!

Last night was the New Catalogue Kick Off Party and it was REALLY fun! I got to chat with some new friends (hi Pat, Pam, and Ella!) as well as catch up with a few familiar faces. And what's a party without a make n' take? Of course we had to do something summery and use something new...
Yep, Pennant Parade! Were you expecting something else?

And what's a party without cake?  Of course there was cake.
The little topper was super easy to make with the same stamp set, punch, a few toothpicks, and some of the Baker's Twine.  We also had some really yummy raspberry punch with fresh raspberries in champagne flutes, but of course I forgot to take a picture.

The new 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalogue officially goes live tomorrow at noon!  So check back here tomorrow for all the details on new ribbon shares and the in-colour club!  Can't wait!!!!!!!!!

PS Remember that today is the LAST day to order from the current catalogue. It's all NEW tomorrow! So go to the Online Store and check to be sure you're not going to have any regrets.

Penant Parade Ice Cream Cone & PARTY TONIGHT!

Here it is again...that Pennant Parade stamp set!  It's just so awesome, I can't put it down!  This time I used one of the pennant stamp images to create the cone for my icecream, and then used the icing from the cupcake punch for my icecream.  Soooo easy!
So what are you up to tonight?  If you live in Calgary and you're looking for a little bit of crafting fun, come on over to my New Catalogue Kick Off Party!

There will be a free make n' take, door prizes, new samples, ribbon share details, and in-colour club sign up.  Of course I'll also have those coveted new catalogues for you too!  Every order of $50 or more receives the new catalogue as well as a package of the new mini clothespins for free!  Can't make it?  Email me your order and I'll make sure you get entered into the door prize, those free clothespins, and the catalogue too (Calgary area only).    I hope to see you tonight!  Extra door prize entry if you bring a friend!  Please email me to let me know you're coming.

Check out the door prize...

Wish Banner

Are you sick of the Perfect Pennants stamp set yet?  I'm not!  ;)  This set has gotten PLENTY of ink in the last few weeks, and I can see that continuing for many months to come!  I am loving how much I can do with this set and yet still have each and every card look fresh and new.  The card today was inspired by this one

I'm beyond excited for the New Catalogue Kick Off Party this coming Wednesday, June 29th from 7-9pm.  I really hope that some of you can make it!  There's going to be a free make n' take with some new goodies, door prize draw, ribbon share sign ups, in-colour club sign up, and of course a glimpse of that new catalogue!!!!  Please send me a quick email to let me know you're coming.  I want to be sure I have enough supplies for everyone.

See you soon!

The production line is up and running again & come see me!

'Guy' cards are hard for me.  I don't make many of them, and when I do they're usually for my husband and he doesn't mind some ribbons and buttons.  But for the swap I joined at Convention, I figured the other Demonstrators wouldn't be wanting my version of a guy card, so I came up with this.  It's still my style (it has something cut out, so of course I made it!) and it's manly too.  :)  Now I just have to make 100 of them.  I'm about half way...

Today I'll be at the Canyon Meadows Community Centre (848 Cantabrian Drive SW) from 11am-4pm.  It's a vendor and craft fair, so there will be lots of goodies to check out!  Come and see me!  I've got the leftovers from the retired stamp sale, handmade cards, you'll have the first choice at workshop dates in July and August, and of course you can place orders too!  It's going to be a really fun day!

Lots of Old Olive

I have a pretty big stash of Old Olive cardstock, so I thought I'd make a card that really focuses on it.  Old Olive is my 'go to' green and I use lots and lots of it, especially around Christmas.  Although, the new Lucky Limeaid is SUPER dreamy too, so they may both be fighting for my attention!

For this card I used the new Pennant Parade stamp set as well as the singular stamp Dot, Dot, Dot.  This card is simple and not really my 'style' but I guess we all have to work outside our comfort zone sometimes.  :)

I hope you're having a fantastic Friday!  Thanks for stopping by to 'see' me.

So many swaps...

So I missed a few days of posting to my blog last week, and now you know why.  I've been busy making 160 of theses little 3 x 3 notes to take to Stampin' Up! Convention for an organized swap with other demonstrators.  I'm beyond excited to go to Convention and thrilled to be going there again with my friends.  Next year I hope that some of my downline join us!  It's THE most fabulous time!
I made my own custom ink pad with a baby wipe and some re-inkers for the multi-coloured leaf image.  I really like this technique because it's easy and fun and always looks beautiful.  I sure hope my demonstrator friends like my swaps!  Now back to the drawing board, I've got 100 masculine swaps to make and then about 100 more whatever cards for general swapping.  Whew, I better get busy!

June Thank you 3 x 3 Notes

Each month I spend a work day creating these little 3 x 3 notes for customers who place orders with me.  This month's notes were all about the new In-colours, the new Pennant Parade stamp set, and matching Petite Pennant Punch.  I'm sure I don't say this nearly enough, but I am so thankful for each and every person who orders from me, leaves a comment on my blog, attends my classes, and books workshops.  Being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is my full time job and I could not make it day to day without each one of you.  So thank you.  If you ordered from me in June, then you'll be looking forward to this little card in with your order.  :)

Thanks again everyone.  I really appreciate your business.

More Sweets for the Sweet

This card just screams summer!  Too bad it's done nothing but rain here in Calgary.  Oh well, today is a new day and I have high hopes!  :)

The new In-colours are at it again on this card!  They're just so amazing that I can't put them down!  It's a healthy addiction I assure you...
And could there be anything sweeter than this little pinwheel?  I didn't think so!  It's all glittered up with some dazzling diamonds too!  So precious!  It's from the same stamp set I used yesterday, Sweets for the Sweet.  Thanks Stampin' Up! for the fabulous inspiration, this is another Alaskan cruise make n' takes case again.

Thanks so much for stopping by today (and every day).  I really appreciate those of you who take the time to check in on me in my crafty world.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your business.

Pool Party & a NEW Stamp Set!

I got to ink up some new rubber at my upline Kristine's house and I couldn't help casing one of the make n' takes from the Alaskan cruise!  The new Sweets for the Sweet stamp set is ADORABLE!  It's got all these little candy treats, an umbrella, some sentiments, and even a little bag you can stamp with the candy inside!  It's hard to describe, but take my word for it, it's a must have!  I also got my first taste of the new in-colours while I was there.  I am in love.  No really.  I know I say this alot, and I know I love everything...BUT Pool Party (this new beautiful light blue) is out of this world.  Move over Baja Breeze, there's a new blue in town!
I will have lots to share with the new In-colours in the coming days, so be sure to stay tuned!  I'll also be releasing the details of an all new In-Colour Club!  You won't want to miss out on that for sure!

Pennant Parade Christmas

This is a bit out of season, but I just had to show you how that cute little Pennant Parade stamp set could morph into something totally Christmas!  The versatility is a real added bonus!  This card is made with Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso, Whisper White, and just a dash of Real Red.
I just love those clear Bitty Buttons!  Easy to use, and you can make them any colour just by backing them with some cardstock!

In other news, I'm still having trouble sleeping.  Ugh.  It's making me feel like I'm going crazy.  Anyone know any sleep remedies?

Being a Demonstrator is SO fun!

Tonight I have some of my downline coming over for a Demonstrator Fun Night!  I'm SO excited!  About once a month we get together to chat, stamp, and hang out.  This month I'm letting the girls go wild with all the stuff I ordered from the new catalogue that hasn't even been released yet!  Lucky ducks!  In addition to their free stamping time, I always do a make n' take with something that's new that they may not have.  That's where this card comes in.
It uses all the new In-colours (Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, Island Indigo, Cameo Coral, and Lucky Limeaid), as well as the new Pennant Parade stamp set and matching punch!  Yes, a matching punch!!!!  I'm in heaven!

If you've ever thought of becoming a demonstrator, now is most certainly the time!  The new catalogue is JUST around the corner!  If you'd like to learn more about being a demonstrator, then feel free to join us for some stamping tonight.  The more the merrier!  (Please just give me a quick call to let me know you'll be coming)

Travel Log & Faux Metal

Every month at Stamp Club we do a new technique, and June was all about Faux Metal!  Oh, and of course I had to use the Travel Log stamp set from the Summer Mini Catalogue...I'm addicted.
It was another fantastic month with you ladies!  Thanks so much for coming!

A Big Goodbye! Lots leaving us...

This is another card from the June Stamp Club meeting and it's loaded with retiring items from Stampin' Up!  The Hello Again stamp set and Define Your Life stamp set are both on their way out, and so is the Daffodil Delight Satin Ribbon and the Spiral Border Punch.  I told you...we were creating up a storm with retiring goodies!
I really like the colour combo here, and I just sort of stumbled upon it.  I used Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight, Concord Crush, Basic Black, and Whisper White

Be sure to check out my Online Store to get your retiring products before they're gone!  Swing by the Clearance Rack while you're there too...always a good bargain there.

Puns From the Past in an oh so lovely vintage fashion...

This month Stamp Club was all about saying goodbye to things that are retiring at the end of this month, and pretty much everything on this card is going bye bye.  So sad...

This beauty was a big hit at club this month, and lots of the ladies bought many of the things to make this card.  So I apologize in advance if my girls bought up all the Love Letter DSP and Early Espresso 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon.  And I knew many of them wouldn't be able to live without the Puns from the Past stamp set either.  It was on my very first purchase from Stampin' Up!  Before I was even a demonstrator!
Don't forget to check out my Online Store to get your goodies before they're all gone!

Fabulous Florets for a summer wedding

Good morning, and happy Monday!  I know that lots of people don't like Mondays, but tonight is Stamp Club so I'm happy it's Monday!

Today's card was trapped on my camera's memory card for a few days, but I finally convinced it to come out.  It just wanted to be picky I guess.  I think it's because it's been so rainy here in Calgary, but last night it was so beautiful and sunny!  And sure enough it uploaded easily to my computer...weird.

For this card I used the Fabulous Florets stamp set and Beyond the Garden designer paper from the Summer Mini Catalogue.  I just love the bright and summery colours!
I hope you have a fabulous Monday, and I'll 'see' you again tomorrow!

What a fabulous evening!

Last night I got together with some of my demonstrator friends at my upline Kristine's house for a play session.  It was SO fun!  She had some fabulous goodies for us to play with that she got on the cruise, so we inked up a brand new stamp set from the new catalogue!  I was in heaven!!!!

It's so nice to get together with a group of ladies that all love the same thing I do....Stampin' Up!  I hadn't seen my convention buddy Tova (hi Tova, I know you're reading this) in FOREVER!  So we sat together and chatted for most of the evening while we stamped pieces of Kristine's cruise make n' takes so we can assemble them when our cardstock arrives.  We were literally scrounging for any scrap we could find of the new in-colours.  They are SO beautiful.  My fave is Pool Party.  Even the name sounds dreamy!

Oh, and for all of you losing sleep over my demonstration, I did fine.  :)

Gotta run!  I've got the card buffet starting at 10am and I've still got to set up and make some snacks!

Thankyou 3 x 3 Notes

My camera doesn't want to co-operate today, so instead of fighting it I'm choosing to just adjust.  I had a really pretty card to show you today that I made with the Fabulous Florets stamp set from the Summer Mini, but my camera card decided to withhold the pictures.  They're on there, they just don't want to come off.  Oh well!

So instead, I'm sharing the thankyou notes I've been working on.  I may have mentioned this before ;) but that Travel Log stamp set is getting some serious attention over here!  Every time I ink up this baby I fall more and more in love.  AND it's a cling mount set!  I'm a die hard wood mount rubber stamper...or so I thought....

Here's a close up...
And check out something else that's new (well, new to me), the Scallop Rectangle Clearlits Die for the BIG SHOT!  I think this shape is just adorable!  Perfect for 3 x 3 cards!

I hope you have a fantastic Friday!  I'm off to a meeting at my upline's house tonight.  I'm doing a demonstration....wish me luck!

June Stamp Club Scrapbook Layout

This coming Sunday and Monday I am meeting with the Stamp Club girls for the beginning of our next round.  I'm giddy with excitement!  I absolutely LOVE Stamp Club.

So for this month, the scrapbookers are doing a travel themed layout.  The Travel Log stamp set from the Summer Mini Catalogue got LOTS of ink!  I got this set at Leadership and almost instantly I knew I was going to make a layout with it.  It's just SO perfect for scrapbooking.

There are 8 great images in this set and I think I used every one of them on this layout!  Think this stamp set is just for scrapbooking???  Nope....check back next week for some more projects I've been making with this awesome set!
I'll be back tomorrow with something else from the mini catalogue...I think you'll like it!  ;)

Stamp Club Scrapbook Layout

With the craziness surrounding all the things I had going on last weekend, I totally forgot to finish posting the rest of the projects from May Stamp Club, whoops!
So this layout is a real favourite of mine!  It has sooooo many of my most treasured items on it, and most of them are retiring!  The Always stamp set, Greenhouse Gala DSP, Pumpkin Pie Satin Ribbon, Marina Mist Taffeta Ribbon...really truly almost everything I used will be leaving us!
You can go here for the Retirement Lists, or you can just head straight to my online store HERE.  Remember that ALL accessories are only available while supplies last.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention...check out these vases...
Do they look familiar?  They're the ties from the Best Dad Ever stamp set!!!!  I just turned them upside down and trimmed the points off.  I love it when my stamps can do double duty!
