Holiday Scrapbook Double Layout

Here's another layout from my Holiday Scrapbook.  This book is part of the National Scrapbooking Month celebration I will be holding on Sunday, May 30th.  It is an all day event with prizes every hour, a bonus project, and tons more surprises.  All scrapbook supplies, lunch, snacks, and the bonus project are all included for the registration fee of $45.  Join me for this fabulous day, it's the event of the year!  Registration closes Wednesday, May 5th.

Holiday Scrapbook Page

Holiday Scrapbook

Hi Everyone!

May is National Scrapbooking Month!  So for the last few days I have been working on this bright and beautiful holiday themed scrapbook for an event I will be holding to celebrate!  All of the paper, stamps, and even the scrapbook itself can be found in the new Mini Catalogue that was sent out this week.  If you would like a copy of the mini catalogue, please email me your address and I'll get one in the mail to you right away.  There are lots of fun new products!

April Stamp Club Projects

Hi Everyone!

So the girls and I had a blast this past Sunday at our monthly Stamp Club meeting!  We created two fun projects using re-inkers in three different ways!  Our technique page (which is in the background) had a piece of paper spritzed with a mixture of re-inker, shimmer paint, and water.  You can also see the flower that we coloured with our aqua painters and re-inker.

For the tree image on this card we put a few drops of re-inker on a plate, sprayed the plate with water, and then soaked up the 'mess' with a coffee filter!  It made this beautiful tree top!

Lastly we made this adorable teeny tiny suitcase with the Matchbox Die and the BIG SHOT!  We inked up the edges to make it look worn and distressed.  We even stamped our images a little crooked and imperfectly so it would look authentically well travelled.  I wish my real suitcase had this many miles on it!

Gumball Machine Card

Hi Everyone!

So today I happened to remember that the products from the current Mini Catalogue are only available until the end of the month!  I then realized that this AWESOME stamp set, Sweet Treats, would be leaving us.  I think this stamp set is super cute and super versatile.  In addition to the gumball machine image, there is a baby rattle (which I have also seen made into a magnifying glass), a sunflower, and a cute little fishbowl variation that would super cute with goldfish crackers in the 'cup'.  What cup you ask?  Look at this card from the side and you can see that there is a little cup that you can fill with whatever you want. 

My cup was meant to have mini gumballs in it, but I bought the wrong size!  Whoops! 

Remember, items in the current mini catalogue are only available until the end of this month!

COLOUR RENOVATION

Stampin' Up! has just released the details of an amazing Colour Renovation! I am SO excited about this change and think that the new colours are beautiful, fresh, and trendy! When the new catalogue comes out in July, we will have the oppourtunity to update our colour families with the new selections that will be joining us! The new colour families are: Brights, Neutrals, Subtles, Regals



There are 5 brand new colours: Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, and Early Espresso. And back by popular demand, there are 10 current and returning in-colours: Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, Riding Hood Red, River Rock, Soft Suede, Tangerine Tango, and Wild Wasabi. I LOVE Wild Wasabi, so I am THRILLED that it is coming back! These new colours will be available for customers to purchase starting July 1st. If you want to get your new colours one month earlier, contact me about becoming a demonstrator! Demonstrators get to pre-order new catalogue items in June!!!

To make room for these fabulous new colours we will have to say farewell to some colours currently offered. If one of your favourites is on the Fond Farewell list, be sure to order additional stock of the paper and re-inker before the end of June.

Someone likes me! & Sweet Pea with Punches

Hi Everyone!

After a lovely long weekend with my family I am back in the city and back to crafting.  I was THRILLED to see that one of the blogs I stop by daily posted my blog as one of her 'Newly Discovered' on Wednesday.  Check out her blog, it's really great.  http://stampinwhenican.blogspot.com/

Because my sister is now pregnant (5 months) I am constantly thinking about baby themed cards, 3D items, scrapbook pages...you get the idea.  Anyways, I love the Little Angel Stamp Set from the current mini catalogue, so I thought I'd make a little sweet pea card with my punches.  This is by no means my original idea, I have seen many cards made with this darling little sweet pea.  I hope you like him (or her) as much as I do!
