Sale-a-bration Shares!

1.  5/8 Satin Ribbon:  3 yards each of 9 colours for a total of 27 yards of this beautifully smooth and shiny satin ribbon.  $29

Under Construction...

Hi Everyone!

Today was the beginning of something I have been looking forward to for a very long time....my craft room is officially under construction!  Wooooo hoooooo!!!!  My awesome husband spent a number of hours at Ikea with me, and then spent numerous more hours putting together all the furniture we purchased.  Side note...does anyone understand those instructions???  Anyways, I am in a complete state of disaster here, but it's going to be worth it!  I will try and get some stamping done in the mess, but no promises!

Happy Valentines Day!!!

Hi Everyone!

Happy Valentines Day!  I hope you are all spending a lovely day with those you love.  I'll be working, making sure all those Valentines sweethearts have something sweet to eat. 

Coming up in March, I will be attending my very first Stampin' Up! event!  I am sooooo excited!  The Calgary regional seminar is being held at the Telus Convention Centre and I'm going to be there!!!  One of the many fabulous perks of being a demonstrator!

Wow, do I ever love co-ordinating products!

Hi Everyone!

Something that I talk about a lot in my workshops and at stamp club meetings is the joy of co-ordinating products.  Before I was introduced to the AWESOME world of Stampin' Up! I would go to the local scrapbooking store, buy tons of stuff I liked, and then take it all home and be frustrated that the colour palettes didn't match up.  And then my friend Angela introduced me to heaven...Stampin' Up!  All the cardstock, inks, ribbon, brads, markers, chalks, die cuts, designer paper...the list could go on...are all perfectly matched!  Now I never have to worry about that piece of ribbon not being quite the right blue...

Something so simple as having all co-ordinating products really goes a long way.  My accordian scrapbook was so simple to create.  I knew the colours I was working with and just grabbed my inks, markers, and cardstock to match.  I love NOT playing the guessing game anymore! 

Also, I have received a few emails about the accordian scrapbook which I will answer for you here:

1.  What exactly is an accordian scrapbook, could we see the finished project cover to cover?  Yes, I have shot a video to show you the book, I just need to figure out how to edit it!  :)

2.  Will you be teaching a class on this?  FOR SURE!  I love this book and think everyone should make one!  I will be holding a class in early March.  Stay tuned for the date.

Lovin' the 'Write Stuff'

Hi Everyone!

Here's another page from my accordian album I made over the weekend with my pictures from our recent trip to Japan.  I knew as soon as I opened the package of the Write Stuff Designer Series Paper it was going to be one of my new favourites.  I just love the colours and the die cut journaling pieces are awesome!

Scrapbooking with ease...

Hi Everyone!

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend relaxing and spending time with your families.  I have spent the weekend in my craft room making an accordian scrapbook (more on that to come) with my pictures from our recent trip to Japan.  With this scrapbook I wanted to show everyone that scrapbooking doesn't have to be difficult and you don't have to own every tool, stamp set, and magazine to come up with great ideas.  My entire book, which I'll be showing you over the course of the coming days, was made with the following items:

-  1/3 pkg Write Stuff Designer Series Paper
-  5 colours of co-ordinating cardstock
-  2 stamp sets, Asian Artistry (hostess level 3) & Eastern Influences
-  4 co-ordinating Stampin' Write Markers
-  Blender Pen
-  an assortment of circle punches
-  assorted adhesives
-  scissors & paper trimmer with scoring blade

I am totally in love with the Write Stuff Designer Series Paper!  Not only does it come with 6 sheets of beautifully designed 2 sided paper, it also comes with three sheets of high quality cover-weight die cut images that are perfect for journaling.  I can't wait to write all my wonderful memories on these pages!
