Stamp Club Projects

Hi Everyone!

I'm so sorry for my sporadic posting lately.  As some of you may know, I was in Japan for 2 1/2 weeks and I've had an extremely hard time adjusting my sleep schedule since I've been home.  I am FINALLY starting to feel human again, so I'll be back to stamping like crazy!  Wooo hoooo!

On Sunday I hosted the first meeting of Stamp Club 2010!  We had such a fabulous time!  There's still one spot left if you want to join. 

At each meeting we will be learning a new stamping technique, and this Sunday it was watercolouring. 

It's simple and fun and looks totally cool. Don't you love how faded Tess' jeans look?  This technique is super easy and you can get awesome results!  I love love love the watercolour crayons. 

We also made this super cute Valentines card using the Sweet Treats Cups and the beautiful brand new Sending Love Designer Series Paper.  This paper is soooo awesome!  One side has glittered images and the other side is matte.  It's also super flowery and girly, totally my style!

Our final project was this tiny and adorable milk carton.  This is made with the Milk Carton Die for the BIG SHOT.  We used more of the Sending Love Paper as well as the new Mini Tag Punch and Tiny Tags Stamp Set.  I really love how these turned out!  And you know me...I LOVE anything made with the BIG SHOT!

We will meet once a month and we are going to have a blast! Each time we meet we are going to learn a new stamping technique to help you learn more about stamping how to use your products. We will also be making 2 cards, or 1 3D project at each meeting for you to take home and give as gifts or save for yourself. You will also receive the Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalogue and any other Stampin' Up! publications FREE during your club membership! (If you have already purchased the catalogue you will receive $10 off your first order). Each member makes a commitment to purchase $30 a month in product from any current Stampin' Up! catalogue which means...

Each member of the club will take turns 'hosting' the group (at my house) and earn the FREE hostess benefits that month! At the very minimum you will earn a free level one hostess set and $20 in free product, but it is often ALOT more!

Lovin' Tote-ally Tess!

Hi Everyone!

I am LOVING the new stamp set Tote-ally Tess!  She comes with a bunch of stamping accessories, but I thought she would look adorable holding a birthday cake!  Isn't she so cute!?

I used the Birthday Bliss stamp set for the cake and sentiment (available as a FREE sale-a-bration item!).  The Designer Series Paper is from the Pink Flamingo assortment.  The beautiful colours are Tempting Turquoise, Cameo Coral, Summer Sun, and Whisper White.

NEW PUNCH STYLE!

Hi Everyone!

Can you believe it...more exciting product news from Stampin' Up!  A new punch style!  Use your punches as you normally would...

and then lock them closed for storing! 

They can be lined up side by side or stacked one on top of another, either way, they're going to take up so much less room!!! 

Cling Mount Stamps!

So I said that there were some really exciting new things from Stampin' Up!  Can you believe now you can buy clear mount stamps!!??!?!  So so so so so cool!  The wood mounted option will still be available, but this new option will allow you to cut down on storage space, as an entire stamp set fits in a DVD case!  Also, positioning your image to be stamped will be MUCH easier with this option as well!  You can see exactly where you're stamping!

I've got a thing for hearts....

Hi Everyone! 

So I know we're barely into the new year, but Valentines Day will be here before we know it, so I wanted to share a card with you.  Well, that and I was dying to use my new Mini Heart Punch and Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits Die!!!  These two new items are in the new Occasions Mini Catalogue, which starts tomorrow!!!  You are going to go crazy for all the new stamp sets, punches, dies, paper, and embellishments in this new catalogue!  Thre are two super exciting announcements in this new catalogue, so check back for the details on these in the next few days!

Quick Tip:  Use the Signo Gel Pen to make dashes along the edge of your cardstock to look like stitching.  Much easier than dragging out the sewing machine...

SNEEK PEAK of Something Sweet

Hi Everyone!

I am having so much fun playing with my stamp sets from the NEW Occasions Mini Catalogue!  These great new sets I've been giving you a peek of are all available on January 5th, so mark that date on your calendar!

The stamp set I've used for the card today is called Something Sweet.  It is really adorable and has soooo many uses!  It also co-ordinates with the Sweet Treat Cups, so the possibilities are truly endless!  The colours I've used for my card are Summer Sun, Taken with Teal, Real Red, and Whisper White.
