Stamps in the Mail - July Bonus Projects

I have something super fun to share today!  I sent all of my Stamps in the Mail subscribers TWO bonus projects for the month of July, and I'm excited for you to see them too!  I won't be sharing the other exclusive projects that these subscribers received, but since this was a bonus add-on I'll let you in on the fun.  ;)
I've shared several times that I'm a fan of the Project Life 4 x 3 Grid Cards, and since I love them so much I sent each of my subscribers a package in July.  This card is super simple and one I could make a bunch of in a snap.
And it wouldn't be me to just have the simple version.  Oh no, we need a WOW version too.  This one has some water colouring, the addition of some embellishments, and of course a fancy envelope.

Stamps in the Mail subscribers have exclusive access to Artisan quality projects with step-by-step video instruction - just like this:

This is the LAST CALL if you would like to sign up for Stamps in the Mail - Round 1 and receive the July projects.  I have only 2 kits available.  Full details on the Stamps in the Mail program HERE.

I hope you'll join the adventure!

Convention Display Board Project 4: Kinda Eclectic Water Color Card

I have a confession.  I'm in a funk.  Ever since I returned home from Stampin' Up! Convention I've been 'off'.  I think I just miss my friends.  I absolutely LOVE my stampin' friends, so I think I'm going through withdrawals.  Thankfully I'll be reunited with at least a few gals on the getaway vacation in September, and I'm having my demonstrator team over for a card making night on August 15th, so I have some creative girl time to look forward to.

Enough complaining, I know, I know.  To brighten up my lacklustre attitude I thought I'd share one of my favourite cards that I created for the Convention Display Boards.
I (heart) water colouring…like A LOT.  So it shouldn't come as a surprise to you that my fave card has a water colour background.

To get this look:
- Stamp your background image (I used the little dots from Kinda Eclectic) on water colour paper in VersaMark Ink, and emboss with White Embossing Powder
- Using an Aqua Painter and the inks of your choice, wash colour over your embossed background until you achieve the level of colour you like
- Wipe with paper towel and embellish

Wanna know a secret?  Month 2 of Stamps in the Mail has some fabulous water colouring techniques that will knock your socks off, and it's not too late to register.
Get the full details HERE, and then contact me ASAP to register.  Month 2 supplies are being sent out shortly and you don't want to miss out!

Thanks so much for coming by my blog today.  I appreciate you spending a little bit of your Monday with me.  :)

Convention 2014 Display Board Project 3: Kinda Eclectic Sponged Background Card

Are you loving the Kinda Eclectic stamp set?  Hope so, 'cause this isn't the last you'll see of it from me.  ;)  I've got PLENTY of fab projects to show you that I made for the Stampin' Up! Convention 2014 Display Boards, so you might as well just buy this set now because I'm going to have tons of ideas coming your way!

This card may look complicated, but it's actually super simple.  I used the Circle Framelits to create a mask so I could sponge the blue and green background in a perfect circle - easy.  Then it was just a matter of stamping my leaves and the sun rays with the mask still in place - also easy.  I removed the mask, stamped the sentiment, and added some punched out butterflies and some itty bitty flowers I coloured with my Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities - super easy.  Poke some holes around the edge and done!

Oh, and don't forget to add a little bling to the centre of your flowers!

My Blendabilities Online Class has started, but don't worry, it's not too late to join the fun…yet.  ;)  Register today so you don't miss out.

This is NOT Scrapbooking

I posted on my personal Facebook page recently about memory keeping.  The consensus was that traditional scrapbooking is too time consuming and photos are living on hard drives for an eternity.  Not cool.

This is where I come in to save the day!

Here's a short video to help you see how EASY this is:
It doesn't matter if you are in the local Calgary area, or anywhere across Canada, this system is SO EASY that you really need no instructions at all - but of course I'll be sending you some fab ideas after you've made your purchase.  :)

For only $60 you can start documenting those memories WITHOUT having to commit to scrapbooking.  Contact me at nicepeoplestamp@hotmail.com to order your kit!  Or browse the entire Project Life by Stampin' Up! product line HERE.

Convention 2014 Display Board Project 2: Kinda Eclectic & Flower Shop + Blendabilities

Today's card is one that I made for Stampin' Up! to display at Convention 2014.  It's bright and fun with lots of white space.  Yup, totally me.
Two stamp sets, Kinda Eclectic and Flower Shop, got married and had a baby - my card.  The Hexagon Hive Thinlit makes a great mask to create a fun background too.  Make sure you try it out!
I especially love the flowers on this card.  They're coloured with the AMAZING Blendabilities alcohol markers.  Do you have yours yet?  You need these.  Trust me.

Not sure how these fabulous markers work?  I've got the perfect solution.  Check out the deets HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Check ya later!
