Stampin' Up! Canada Fall Conference - Calgary, AB

This weekend I was a busy little bee attending and volunteering at the Stampin' Up! Canada Fall Conference in Calgary, AB.  I had a great time with my several of my team members, the Inkin' Elite, as we stamped some beautiful projects, learned business tips, and had friendly fights in the game show to win Stampin' Up! products!  A truly wonderful weekend!
My peeps know how to have a good time!  There were lots of great props in the Photo Booth to get silly with!
There were several tables set up for Make n Takes (which were STUNNING by the way - I'll share those later this week).  And I was one of the lucky ones to run the Blendabilities table and teach the guests all about these fabulous markers.
Check out these adorbs centrepieces.  My upline Kristine and I, as well as fellow demos Tara, Carmen, and Sarah made these.
And of course I always love to spoil my team members with a little  present from me.  Here's the goodie bags I made for them and their guests.
One things I cherish most about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is the many amazing relationships it has brought into my life.  I have met all of my closest friends through my stamping business and several of them are now my team members.

Become a Stampin' Up! Associate to save money, earn money, or just to enjoy the benefits of being part of the Stampin' Up! community.  I'd love to have you join my awesome team, the Inkin' Elite.  For my FAQ page and a link to sign up, go HERE.  I need two more people to join my team by the end of September for me to reach my goal, so I hope you'll help me out!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.  I'll have some creative inspiration for you tomorrow.  And if you're in the Calgary area, stop by my Holiday Catalogue Launch Party tonight!  Drop-in 7pm-9pm for Make n Takes, door prizes, and guaranteed fun!  Contact me to rsvp.

Paper Feather Mobile - Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Hi friends and welcome back to another Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!  I have a very special project to share with you today that I know you're going to love!
I created this paper feather mobile a few weeks ago and I couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out.  Even perfectly still, the feathers have a beautiful, organic, whimsical flow to them.

So you want to make one too?  First of all, scroll to the bottom of this post to see all the Stampin' Up! supplies you'll need.  Next, collect a few things from your local shop including
  • a large eye needle
  • gold spray paint
  • an embroidery hoop
First, spray that ugly embroidery hoop with gold spray paint to make it super glam.  Then you're going to create several long strands of feathers.  You can see how I did that in this video:
Now that you have all your beautiful strands of feathers, tie them on to the gold embroidery hoop.  I did mine about one inch apart.   Then simply attach some linen thread to the top of the embroidery hoop so you can hang it.  Voila!

Oh, and here's the colour combo I used, but feel free to mix it up and try your own.
Have an amazing day, and thank you so much for stopping by!  Now go and check out the creative genius of my friend Barbara!

Holiday Home goes Halloween

A few weeks ago I had several projects published on the Scrapbook and Cards Today blog featuring the Holiday Home bundle - a fast fave of mine.  So if you're a follower of Scrapbook and Cards Today you may have seen this card before, but I'm going to share my supply list today too.  Just in case you want to make this spooky little gem at home.
The Holiday Home bundle is a must own.  Seriously.
Holiday Home Photopolymer Bundle137631
Price$39.75
Believe me now?  Totally fab right?!
So because those little houses can be cut out with the Big Shot, the only fussy cutting I had to do was for the little ghosts.  Even the clouds I made with the Cupcake Builder Punch.  ;)

This is one project of many that I'll be sharing with the Holiday Home bundle.  Better just order it now.  :)
