Merry 2014 12x12 Scrapbook Page: Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! Today I have a 12x12 scrapbook page to share that I created for our family Christmas photo. Truth be told, this is a photo from a few years ago as we haven't taken one yet this year, but we will. I'm all about Project Life these days to preserve memories, but it'll be nice to have a fancy 12x12 page in my PL book for our special Christmas photo too.
All the beautiful embellishments on this page are from the Hello December Project Life Accessory Pack. LOVE this so much. You need it, for reals. The sweet snowflake stamps are from the December Wonder Project Life stamps set. Another must own.

I'm off to finish sewing some Christmas gifts for my nephews! Don't forget to go see what my friend Barbara has created this week. I'm sure it's fab.

I'll have a few blog posts for you over the next two weeks, but the Artisan Design Team is taking Christmas week off from our blog hop. We'll be back to blog hopping for you on January 1st. :)

Have an amazing day. Thank you so much for stopping by.
Happy Stampin'

Oversize Chalkboard Gift Tags: Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! As we count down the days until Christmas I know your days must be as action packed as mine are. Decorating the house, wrapping gifts, loads of baking…the list could go on and on. Even though we are all super busy, it's important to still embellish the last gift you wrap just as beautifully as the first. These oversize chalkboard tags are the perfect solution.
You'll want to start with the fabulous Festive Kraft Designer Paper Rolls for your wrapping paper. The paper is nice and heavy so it won't rip while you press those corners together, and the designs are super pretty. Oh, and it's on sale. Bonus!

For the ultra stylish tags I used the pre-cut pieces in the Chalkboard Banner Simply Created Kit. Huge time saver there. Then all I had to do was embellish. I chose the big snowflake from the Letterpress Winter stamp set (stamped in Whisper White Craft Ink) and of course I had to add a big Champagne Glimmer Paper bow and sentiment using my Big Shot and the Gift Bow Bigz Die and Wonderful Wreath Framelits. Easy peasy. These come together SO quickly and easily, but they're sure to be a showstopper under the tree.

Now let's go see what my friend Barbara has created this week.

Thanks for stopping by today! See you soon!

Seasonally Scattered: Love You Card

So do you think I'm crazy for sharing a 'love you' and possibly Valentines Day card in early December?! Trust me, there's a method to my madness. This stamp set, Seasonally Scattered, is going to retire in just a few short weeks when the Holiday Catalogue ends. Don't miss out on this beauty.
Available in Clear Mount or Wood Mount
I made several cards (including this one) for the Stampin' Up! Convention display boards using this set and I love how they turned out. The cute ribbon bow tie on this one makes it extra darling.
The little letters to add the 'you' are from the Alphabet Rotary Stamp….super love this one!
If you're a fan of my Nice People Stamp Facebook Page, you know that my house is a dust covered mess from the drywalling phase in the new stamping studio. So without further adieu, I'm off to vacuum and dust EVERYTHING…again….

Burlap Christmas Ornament

Hi friends. Hope your Monday is off to a great start! I have an action packed day ahead of me, but I wanted to leave you with something creative to start your day. :)

Last week I attended the Calgary Stampin' Up! Occasions & Sale-a-bration Catalogue Premier with some of the members of my team, the Inkin' Elite. After the premier we went out for cheesecake and had our annual handmade gift exchange. The burlap ornament I'm sharing with you today is the gift that I brought.
So it's fab and rustic and all kinds of awesome, but want to know the best part?! It took less than 20 minutes to make. Yep, I love me a quick and wow craft project! So you want to make one too?
Supplies needed:

Here's a step by step rundown:

  1. Cut the Burlap Ribbon into 2" strips
  2. Gather the ribbon pieces in the centre and attach to the styrofoam ball with hot glue
  3. After you have almost the entire ball covered, attach a loop of Cherry Cobbler Ribbon for your hanger
  4. Add the reminder of your Burlap strips until the whole ball is covered
  5. Tie a bow with the Cherry Cobbler Ribbon and attach with hot glue.
Easy right?! I hope you'll try making one of your own.
Once per month you can join me in my home (and soon to be NEW STUDIO!) to make pretty things, chat with some fab ladies that share a love of creativity, and purchase the very best in crafting supplies. Want to see the projects we made in November?
Want to check it out? Join me this Monday or Tuesday evening (Dec 8 or 9th @ 7pm) to see what Stamp Club is all about! You MUST rsvp so I have enough supplies for you.

Already know you want to join? Email asap to hold your spot. The new group will be meeting the second week of January. More details HERE.

December Daily Project Life by Stampin' Up! Album

Remember when I shared the cover of my December Daily Project Life album a few weeks ago? Well, a couple of nights ago I had some of my customers over so we could prepare the inside pages. I'm happy to report that all of my pages are ready and just need pictures added! Thanks to Project Life by Stampin' Up! I'm scrapbooking BEFORE events even take place. This is a miracle my friends.
And now that December has started I've begun taking a few minutes at the end of my day to print a couple pictures and do my journalling.
It's not too late to start your own December Daily album. Simply click on any of the products listed below to go to my Canadian online store and purchase what you'll need.
